Christmas Holiday Tea Party Planning: Party Invitations

Christmas-Holiday-Tea-PartyEvery year around Christmas, a delightful tea party is planned with my group of friends. Yes, we do try to outdo each other and this year it’s my turn. Of course, I’m going for a great Christmas tea party. Here are my choices for those all-important invitations to this gathering.

Simple and Classic Holiday Tea Party Invitations

It’s not always necessary to get more elaborate as we outdo each other. We just need to have a more charming event or a theme that hasn’t been done in previous years. Looking for ideas always sends me to possible invitations. The talented designers who create these invitations have many more ideas than I can come up with. Here are some of my favorites for those simple yet classic designs for Christmas tea parties.

Getting Casual with With Christmas Tea Party Invitations

Going for a more casual effect has been done in the past, but I think I can make this year’s tea party even more so. These invitations have inspired me to more decorating ideas and more elaborate foods to serve. It’s just fun to get lots of ideas as I browse the possible invitations. These are certainly some of the possibilities that I’m considering.

Madhatter and More for Christmas Tea Parties

Of course, the Madhatter and anything to do with Alice in Wonderland makes a great theme for a tea party. Adding in Santa hats and holly branches makes the festive look for Christmas. There is no doubt this theme could be a real hit for any tea party during the holidays.

Planning a Christmas Holiday Tea Party

OK, you picked out which invitations you like best and therefore have a theme for your tea party. Now comes more fun as you plan the decorations and menu. Take a closer look at your chosen design. I’ll bet you will discover the little accent things that will make your decorations fun. Think of things like candy canes, Santa hats and poinsettia blooms. Maybe red bows adorn your chosen invitation so red bows will make up lots of your decorating.

When it comes to the food, color is a big part of my menu. Red and green, of course for Christmas, but there is more you can do when look for the color schemes in the invitations. Add food coloring to things like biscuits and cookies to help achieve your color scheme in your menu. Then get ready for blast at your own Christmas tea party.

No matter what type of tea party you are planning, you’re sure to find the perfect Christmas tea party invitations. Be sure to take time to enjoy your own tea party, too.
