Halloween Theme Tea Party

Halloween-Tea-PartyHaving a tea party to celebrate Halloween is a great excuse. The fun of planning is easier with these tips, teapots and food ideas. Whether scary or cute, a Halloween tea party makes an enjoyable way to share with friends.

Tea Party Planning

Any time you start with a theme, your planning will be easier. With a Halloween theme, the decor, food and teapots are easily available. Start with thinking about the size of the tea party. Will it be a small one with just a few friends, or will you want a larger tea party with lots of guests? The size can help you determine how elaborate you want to go with the decor and food options.

Teapots for Halloween Fun

These fun teapots are a great way to start. Your teapot will most likely be the single most expensive item you need for your Halloween tea party, so start there first. Then you can go on to set your decor to match or complement.

Pick Your Decor

Choosing your decor will be easier when you have the teapot chosen. Look at the first teapot on the left. It has a vintage look to it and designed around cute pumpkins. Your tea party decor can go along the lines of vintage, cute pumpkins, even a Fall theme. A black cat pokes his head up at the bottom, so you can complement your Halloween decor with a little black, cats or a combination.

The teapot on the right is just a simple black and orange design, the colors for Halloween. With this one, you can go with a more modern Halloween decor or even just a simple effect for your decorations. This works great for just a color scheme decor as well.

Fun Food Options

Halloween foods are some of the most fun to be creative and creepy with. Kraft Recipes has lots of fun ideas for making the right kinds of foods to serve. Remember, tea party foods are always finger foods and always cut into bite sized pieces. Using Halloween molds to create candies for accents is a fun idea as well.

So get together your guest list, pick your date and starting planning a fun Halloween tea party this year. After all, aren’t we always looking for another excuse to have a tea party?
